How did I get involved?
Jan Gaarni came to LucasForums after following a link on the official Star Wars Galaxies forums back in January 2002, to the SWGalaxies.Net forum part of LucasForums. He quickly became one of the core people (MikeC, Wraith 8, ComRaven, Justyn, and a few more) and helped build up and define the community for that part of LucasForums. And a fine community it was, which he considers the best years online to this date.
Posting mainly (might even say exclusively) on SWGalaxies.Net forums, a year later he was asked to help Wraith 8 with moderating the SWGalaxies.Net forum.

In first quarter of 2005, Empire at War was announced, and after SWG dieing down (or rather out), he jumped on the newly formed EaW forums here on LucasForums and became the first Moderator for it.

On 24th of September the same year he was promoted into the ranks of Super Moderator.

Jan has been a fan of Star Wars for as long as he can remember, and has collected many of the finest Star Wars games thru the years, including X-Wing, TIE Fighter, X-Wing: Alliance, Rebellion, most of the Jedi Knight series, but also other LucasArts games such as Indiana Jones series, Full Throttle, Day of the Tentacle, Monkey Island series, and many more.
