So just how good is the Emperor?

 HINT: When using the force against a building, make sure that no enemy units are around your hero. Because while your hero is attacking the building they can die faster by enemy fire. Also, when force attacking a building it is made unoperational. This is a good way to plan a base attack strategy as you can use a hero to disable any turbolaser towers or build pad defences. |
Step Two: Clear up the base perimeter.
Usually your enemy will build a few defences on build pads to combat any attacks, as well as have more units on stand-by for defence. Luckily, the Emperor actually has a third ability that can only be used against buildings. When telling a force sensitive hero to attack a building they can use the force to rattle the building slowly damaging it. This works great, as long as the coast is clear. After clearing up any remaining units, now it's step three. Step Three: Destory the Pirate Base. Luckily the pirate team only has one structure, making base clean up a breaze. Have anouther unit on stand-by (stormtrooper and pirate squadron) to destroy anything spawned from the base and have the Emperor destroy the building itself. After you actually destroy the pirate base structure, good job! You just elimated anouther rogue group of pirates. These steps work best when dealing with small pirate bases on land, and when you decide to use the Emperor. Using these strategies you will be able to use the Emperor to his best and along with a few other units you will have the capability to attack even the most fortified rebel strongholds! |
Online, it can be a totally different experience With the Galactic Conquest mode, most players tend to protect the Emperor - forgetting just how lethal he can be on ground assaults. Providing you erect Bacta Tanks all over the map as you make progress, he can really do some serious damage. In skirmish mode, it's a case of 'if he dies, I will just buy another!' The poor old fool dies pretty quickly during skirmish but still, with his mentioned powers, coverting a small bunch of rebels during a battle, can change the tide of the game..... |
