At the cost of a mere 500 credits, the Smuggler is one of the most valuable units in Empire at War.
Working for both the Rebel Alliance & Galactic Empire, the Smuggler is more than just a leech that sucks the credits from planets he is assigned to. He can also be an extra pair of eyes for your armies, so you can plan where to strike next. |
Because the Smuggler can move around undetected, he can quite easily be moved from planet to planet revealing all space units and Space station levels on the planet he is above. Once you have all that information, you can either act on it - send in your much larger fleet to attack, or use the Smuggler to establish credit smuggling on the planet. It is possible to build lots of them but they do eat into your overall population cap - just 1 unit. Top Tip. Find a planet where you can produce the Cantina and in order to build smugglers much fast, place at least 3 or even 4 cantinas on the planet surface. |
